I4F, a group of companies providing patents and technologies to the flooring industry, today announced that its ceramic-imitating technology, i4F CeraGrout, continues to gain momentum across North America. To date, 21 manufacturers Asia, Europe and the United States have already signed i4F CeraGrout license agreements. SPC floor and wall products enhanced with i4F CeraGrout are being distributed to big box, distributors, builders and retail outlets across the US and Canada. The solution will be on display at The International Surfaces Event in Las Vegas at booth 927,

The company reports that ongoing end-user feedback on i4F CeraGrout highlights five main advantages: great aesthetics and optical properties, the elimination of dirty grouts, easy, mess-free installation as well as water-resistance, making it suitable for any room – including wet rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and basements. Consumers also said they like i4F CeraGrout’s versatility for use on both floors and walls with grouts available in any colour.

Designed to perfectly mimic the appearance of rectified ceramics, i4F CeraGrout integrates grout lines into its design, delivering a seamless aesthetic in any color. Its innovative middle grout line allows for the faster installation of perfect squares and patterns. Engineered for durability, i4F CeraGrout is completely water-resistant and highly resistant to stains, household chemicals, and daily wear, ensuring long-lasting beauty and improved hygiene. Tiles and panels are easy to install and replace, providing a mess-free alternative to traditional ceramics. The solution expands design possibilities on walls and floors with realistic visible joints available in any color.

"End-users, DIYers, and professional installers alike are extremely enthusiastic about i4F CeraGrout, so it’s no surprise that demand and supply are increasing by the day!" said i4F CEO John Rietveldt. "The beautiful look of ceramics is timeless and so having an alternative that not only looks just as good, if not better, that is as durable as the original while being a great deal easier to install, is understood to all.”
