HGTV's "Fixer to Fabulous" hosts Dave and Jenny Marrs will lead a discussion about hardwood flooring's value in home construction at the 2025 International Builders Show.

The session, scheduled for Feb. 25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will focus on how builders can market hardwood flooring to prospective buyers. AHF Products, which manufactures brands including Bruce, Hartco and Robbins, is sponsoring the event.

"Some homeowners worry about the cost and maintenance of hardwood, but in the long run, it's one of the most cost-effective options because it lasts so much longer than carpets or vinyl," Dave Marrs said.

The couple will showcase innovations including Densified Hardwood, which uses compressed wood fibers for increased durability, and Hydropel Waterproof Technology, designed for moisture-resistant engineered wood floors.

The 30-minute presentation begins at 9:45 a.m. in the convention center's Design Central area, where industry professionals gather to discuss residential design trends and innovations.
