The prestigious 23rd edition of the Tile of Spain Awards for Architecture and Interior Design has announced its winners during an international press conference at Cevisama, Spain's premier ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings exhibition. Held annually in Valencia, Cevisama serves as the industry's leading platform for showcasing innovations in ceramic design, manufacturing technologies, and applications, drawing professionals from around the world.

The competition, which promotes innovative applications of Spanish ceramic tiles, awarded €15,000 prizes in both architecture and interior design categories, with an additional €5,000 prize for the Master's dissertation category.

Javier López Bautista's "The circular viewpoint" in Puebla de Arenoso captured the Architecture Award with its panoramic ceramic design that creates a harmonious connection with the surrounding landscape. Meanwhile, studioNOLET's "Hill house" renovation in Sant Feliu de Guíxols won the Interior Design Award for its expressive geometric and chromatic interplay using reddish-toned ceramic flooring.

Special mentions were awarded to "Dosmurs House" by Mesura Arquitectura and "Yellow Brick Road" by La Errería in the Architecture category, while "House in Guardamar del Segura" by Bernardo Cerrato Hernández and "9/3 House" by CAVAA Arquitectes received recognition in Interior Design.

The Master's Dissertation Award went to Álvaro Pozo Pérez from CEU San Pablo University for "A post-extractivist retreat," praised for its scale-like ceramic application and sustainable approach. The Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers' Association also recognized Reférénce Carrelage and Diseño Interior magazine for their contributions to promoting Spanish ceramic tiles internationally and nationally.
