Fishman Flooring Solutions has officially opened its newest branch in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, on May 5, 2025, marking the company's 48th location. The approximately 5,000-square-foot facility is strategically positioned to serve the Southern Baltimore pickup market, providing customers with fast, convenient access to Fishman's extensive inventory of flooring and flooring installation supplies.

"The opening of the Linthicum Heights location, which is our 48th branch, is the latest chapter in the deliberate growth of our business," said Shane Richmond, president of Fishman Flooring Solutions. Richmond noted that the company's growth strategy has been methodical, including the late 2024 acquisition of the W.J. Grosvenor distribution business, which established Fishman's presence in the New England market. Over the past two years, the company has also expanded into the Louisville, Kentucky and Fredericksburg, Virginia markets.

Eli Lopez, who joined Fishman in 2022 as assistant branch manager at the company's Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, location, will manage the new Linthicum Heights branch. The facility will operate Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

According to Richmond, Fishman's expansion strategy focuses on markets within or adjacent to its existing footprint, where its wide range of products and exceptional customer service can differentiate it from competitors. "Being the biggest flooring distribution business is not Fishman's goal. Our goal is to be the best custodian of relationships with our employees and vendors and to delight our customers with every interaction we have with them," Richmond said.
