Mexico's architecture and interior design community has strengthened its collaborative framework through a formal alliance between 17 prominent professional organizations and Obra Blanca, the country's premier platform for finishes and design products. The partnership was finalized during a networking event on March 27, reinforcing Obra Blanca's position as the central hub for Mexico's architecture and interior design sector.
Since launching in 2019, Obra Blanca has focused on uniting industry stakeholders—including associations, media, professionals, and companies—with the aim of creating a comprehensive community platform. The alliance network includes established partners such as Arquine, Asociación Mejor Ciudad, AMIC, CANADEVI Valle de México, CANL, Design Week México, FCARM, Glocal, IES México, Iluminet, Mextrópoli, and TCNA México, while welcoming new 2025 partners, including AIA Mexico, Arquitectas MX, ECOstudio VX, and Podio.
Fernando Lozano Assad, President of Obra Blanca and Director of TCNA México, emphasized the significance of the coalition: "It is an honor and a responsibility for Obra Blanca to be the event that unites the architecture and interior design community. All our efforts are focused on growing this network of alliances to become the core of the architecture and interior design community and the catalyst for the finishes and design products sector."
These strategic partnerships aim to create a support network for professionals shaping Mexico's built environment while fostering dialogue and cooperation among diverse stakeholders. The sixth edition of Obra Blanca will take place October 14-16, 2025, at Expo Santa Fe in Mexico City.
