The 27th edition of Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor, recognized as the largest international carpet and flooring trade show in the Asia-Pacific region, will welcome industry professionals May 26-28 at Shanghai's National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC – Hongqiao).

Under the theme "More than Flooring," this year's exhibition arrives at a critical moment for the industry. With recently imposed tariffs creating turbulence in global trade relations, the event positions itself as a vital platform for businesses seeking new opportunities and partnerships to navigate economic uncertainties.

"In the midst of a complex global economic and trade environment, Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor 2025 will act as a vital hub for industry professionals to forge new business connections, uncover emerging market trends, and gain insights into the evolving future of flooring," said David Zhong, president at Globus Events, the show's co-organizer.

The 2025 edition builds on a strong foundation, following last year's attendance of 83,850 visitors from 117 countries, including nearly 18,000 international participants. This year, organizers anticipate similar interest, bolstered by the participation of approximately 180 selected buyers from 25 different countries and 10 country delegations organized through collaborations with industry associations.

Elvin Tay, president of the Malaysian Interior Industry Partners Association (MIIP), highlighted the value of these curated experiences: "The guided tour curated by Domotex Asia is especially appreciated, as not only does it save us valuable time, but it also allows our members to connect directly with key personnel from the participating factories - fostering meaningful and productive engagements."

Across seven expansive halls spanning 210,000 square meters, approximately 1,600 companies and brands will showcase their latest innovations. The exhibition floor will feature dedicated spaces for carpets (two halls), hard flooring (four halls), and FLOORTECH Asia, which will display cutting-edge hard flooring production technologies.

As part of the broader Build Asia Mega Show, Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor will offer a comprehensive agenda of events designed to address the evolving needs of visitors. Notable features include the returning Cadex platform for architecture and interior design innovation, the Flooring Innovation Summit, the Chinese Original Carpet Design Show, and forums focused on hospital renovation and e-commerce strategies for the carpet and textile industries.
