Ceramics of Italy has announced the opening of applications for its fifth annual Destination: Cersaie | Bologna program, offering North American design professionals a fully-funded opportunity to attend Italy's premier ceramic tile exhibition.

The four-night, CEU-accredited trip will take participants to Bologna from September 22-26, 2025, to attend Cersaie – the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings. The program is organized by Confindustria Ceramica (the Italian Association of Ceramics) and the Italian Trade Agency.

Eligible applicants include North American developers, architects, builders, contractors, and design professionals. For the second consecutive year, the program has expanded to include emerging distributors through the merged Young Distributor Program. Distributor candidates must be under 40 years old, have fewer than five to seven years of industry experience, and demonstrate passion and leadership within their companies.

Selected participants will join a VIP delegation of leading industry journalists and professionals for curated, guided tours of the exhibition. The experience includes viewing the latest Italian tile collections, trends, innovations, and sustainability initiatives, while providing networking opportunities with manufacturer representatives.

Beyond the trade show, participants will enjoy cultural experiences throughout Bologna and the surrounding areas, including an exclusive visit to an Italian tile factory to observe the manufacturing process firsthand.

Ceramics of Italy will cover all expenses for the four-night hotel stay and economy flights for selected participants.
