Cersaie 41st Edition Brings Global Tile and Bath Leaders to Bologna

The 41st edition of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, returns to Bologna, Italy, this month as the premier global showcase for ceramic and porcelain innovations. The five-day event will bring together design and industry professionals to explore the latest trends shaping the ceramics sector.

Scale and Scope: Over 600 manufacturer exhibitors are expected to present thousands of new product introductions, ranging from ultra-thin ceramic slabs to sculptural, wall-mounted porcelain sinks and washbasins that reflect 2025's leading macro tile trends in both color and form.
Distinguished Speakers: American architect Elizabeth Diller of Diller Scofidio + Renfro will deliver the keynote lecture as part of the fair's "Building, Dwelling, Thinking" series. The conference program also features presentations by Portuguese firm CAN RAN, Madrid-born architect Ángela García de Paredes, and Italian architect Lina Malfona.
Hands-On Learning: "Tiling Town," a 400-square-meter live demonstration area, will provide attendees with insights into advanced large-format tile installation techniques and applications. Winners of the 2025 Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition will also present their award-winning projects in interactive discussions.
Sustainability Focus: The industry's commitment to environmental responsibility takes center stage with Mauro Rullo, Sustainability and Climate Policy Manager for Confindustria Ceramica, presenting updates on certifications and advancements in the Italian ceramics sector. Many manufacturers will showcase collections utilizing closed-loop recycling and energy- and water-saving processes.
