The cleaning and restoration industry's most comprehensive educational event is set to return to Las Vegas this September, bringing together professionals from across the sector for three days of intensive learning, networking, and hands-on demonstrations. The Fall Experience, produced by sister publication Restoration & Remediation, will take place September 3-5, 2025, at the Caesars Forum Convention Center. Floor Trends & Installation is a proud media sponsor of The Fall Experience.

Flooring Focus Takes Center Stage

This year's event features a strong focus on flooring education, with multiple sessions specifically designed for restoration professionals who encounter flooring challenges in their daily work. The programming demonstrates the critical intersection between restoration services and proper flooring practices—a connection that can make or break project outcomes.

The event's flooring education track features presentations from some of the industry's most respected experts:

Ralph Falavina of Rytech Restoration of Greater Chattanooga and former executive director of CFI will present "Prep for Success: Mastering Floor Preparation for Lasting Results" on Wednesday, September 3. Falavina brings decades of experience in both restoration and flooring inspection, offering attendees insights into the critical preparation phase that often determines project success.

Mark Violand, President of Violand Flooring Inspections and Instruction, will deliver "Chemistry of Cleaning: How to Get the Toughest Jobs Clean and 'aha' Moments" on Thursday, September 4. His presentation promises to demystify the science behind effective cleaning practices, particularly for heavily soiled and greasy carpets—common challenges in restoration work.

Will Stoner, Owner and Member of Inspector Training Services and National Institute of Certified Floorcovering Inspectors (NICFI), will present "Flooring Failures Aren't All Your Fault: Flooring Inspectors and You" on Friday, September 5. This session will examine common flooring failures and their causes, providing restoration professionals with the knowledge to identify and address issues before they become major problems.

Beyond Education: The Complete Experience

The Fall Experience lives up to its name by offering more than traditional conference sessions. The event features the industry's largest trade show floor, where attendees can interact with hundreds of suppliers and service providers. Live product demonstrations allow hands-on evaluation of the latest tools, technology, and solutions.

The venue also includes specialized demonstration areas—a full-service Cleaning Pavilion and Restoration Pavilion (formerly called Flood House)—where additional hands-on learning takes place throughout expo hours. These interactive spaces allow attendees to see equipment and techniques in action, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

The event attracts key decision-makers from across the cleaning and restoration spectrum, including restoration and remediation professionals specializing in water, mold, fire, smoke, biohazard, and indoor air quality issues. Commercial and residential cleaning specialists, business owners, contractors, distributors, and catastrophe responders also attend, creating a comprehensive networking environment.

Perfect Vegas Setting

The Caesars Forum Convention Center provides an ideal backdrop for the industry's premier event. The state-of-the-art venue offers direct access to Harrah's Las Vegas, the LINQ Hotel + Experience, and Flamingo Las Vegas, providing convenient lodging and entertainment options for attendees.

Discounted hotel rates and the excitement of Las Vegas create an atmosphere that extends networking opportunities beyond the convention center walls. The combination of serious education and Vegas entertainment has become a signature element of The Fall Experience.

Registration and Additional Programming

The event kicks off with an optional pre-conference session on Tuesday, September 2, featuring Santiago Arango, Inner Circle Coach from Phenomenal Products, Inc. His presentation, "Secrets of a Phenomenal Cleaning and Restoration Business," covers essential business development topics including team building, client acquisition, sales growth, profit maximization, and business systematization. This session requires separate registration at $225 per person, with lunch included.

The Fall Experience is produced by Restoration & Remediation (R&R), which reaches more than 48,000 restoration and cleaning professionals monthly through its comprehensive digital platform. The publication's website, randrmagonline.com, attracts more than 26,000 unique industry leaders monthly, generating over 52,000 page views.

Industry Impact

For flooring professionals working in restoration contexts, The Fall Experience represents a unique opportunity to understand the broader ecosystem in which their expertise operates. The event's emphasis on practical, hands-on learning ensures that attendees leave with actionable knowledge that can immediately impact their business operations.

As the cleaning and restoration industry continues to evolve, events like The Fall Experience play a crucial role in maintaining professional standards and advancing best practices. The integration of flooring education into the broader restoration curriculum reflects the industry's recognition that specialized knowledge across multiple trades enhances overall service quality and customer satisfaction.

Registration information and complete session details are available through the official event website. With the restoration industry's continued growth and the increasing complexity of modern flooring systems, this year's Fall Experience promises to be an essential gathering for professionals committed to excellence in their field.
