Floor Supply Distributing Inc., based in Washington, has been appointed to distribute Tarkett residential sheet flooring products and accessories in Oregon and Alaska. Floor Supply has represented Tarkett since 1965 in Washington, northern Idaho and Montana. In addition, the company now has branch offices and warehousing operations in Portland, Ore., and Fairbanks, Alaska. More than 15 sales representatives call on retailers, flooring contractors, and kitchen and bath dealers throughout the region.

Pacific Mat & Commercial Flooring (PM&CF) of Kent, Wash., has joined the nationwide network of distributors for Armstrong Floor Products. Representing Armstrong commercial products in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and Alaska, PM&CF recently changed its name to emphasize its commercial focus.

Tom Duffy Co. has joined the network of distributors for Sealflex Industries, representing the company’s moisture-retardant flooring adhesives and primers throughout Northern California and northern Nevada. Headquartered in Fairfield, Calif., Tom Duffy Co. will utilize its 16 warehouse locations and 12 field representatives to provide flooring contractors with Sealflex product information, support and delivery. Sealflex Northern California/Northern Nevada representative Bob Ross will provide technical assistance.

Award Hardwood Floors has appointed the Western Carpet and FSC Flooring distributorships to handle sales and retail training. Western Carpet of Brooklyn, N.Y., distributes the Master’s Touch series of wide-width old plank floors in the Metro New York and New England territories, and services the New England market for Award with the 2-Strip Modern and 3-Strip Classic longstrip products.

FSC Flooring of Sheboygan, Wisc., has been appointed to distribute Master’s Touch as well as the longstrip products of 2-strip Modern and 3-strip Classic for the areas of eastern Wisconsin, Illinois and Missouri.

DriTac Adhesive Group has announced its new partnership with J.J. Haines and Co. DriTac adhesives and installation products will now be available at all J.J. Haines locations. The distributor has been servicing customers in the Mid-Atlantic states since 1874, with offices and warehouse distribution points in Baltimore, Goldsboro, N.C., Wytheville, Pa., Richmond, Va., and Philadelphia.

Quick-Step Inc., manufacturers of Uniclic glueless laminate flooring, has added two new distributors to its network. Detroit-based Gerlinger Co. Inc. will distribute Quick-Step exclusively to the state of Michigan. Cincinnati-based Ohio Valley Flooring will cover Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania.

Gerlinger has nine sales representatives as well as an architectural and design specialist servicing the Michigan area. Ohio Valley Flooring, one of the largest distributors in the Midwest, has 24 sales reps covering its area. With these most-recent additions, Quick-Step now has 17 distributors servicing its retailers across the continental United States as well as in Alaska and Hawaii.
