"Ceramic Tile in the 20th Century," by John J. Sekora


The Tile Contractors' Association of America Inc. (TCAA) recently unveiled "Ceramic Tile in 20th Century America," a 264-page, oversize coffee table book published as part of the association's centennial anniversary.

The book was authored by John J. Sekora, a past president and current historian of the TCAA. Chapter by chapter, the book covers the mechanics, culture and history of tile through classic photographs, essays, speeches, personal anecdotes, and original advertisements.

"Ceramic Tile in 20th Century America" is available as a limited edition, and sold through advance orders with scheduled delivery in October, according to the TCAA. More information may be obtained by telephoning (800) 655-8453.
