Anderson Hardwood Floorshas namedJohn Woolseyto serve as the company’s new director of marketing. In this role, Woolsey is responsible for increasing Anderson’s market share, brand awareness and visibility in the industry. He is a 35-year industry veteran, and most recently worked as marketing manager for Columbia Forest Products.

Anderson has also appointed W. Carr Newton to serve as northern regional sales manager. Newton, based in Atlanta, is responsible for product distribution and sales in the Northeastern United States and Canada.

George Berbery has joined Carpet Art Deco as executive vice president, sales and marketing. He is responsible for organizing the company’s sales force and marketing team. Berbery has held several sales positions with Beaulieu of America and was the vice president of sales and marketing at Surya Carpet for the past three years. He brings to his new position 12 years of experience in the rug industry.

Traditions in Tile, an independently owned ceramic tile and stone distributor formerly known as Tile Contractors Supply Co., has promoted Ira Andrew Brown III to the role of executive vice president, sales and marketing. In his new position, Brown is responsible for directing the company’s continued growth through an aggressive acquisition and expansion program utilizing its exclusive branded products and suppliers. Formerly American Olean brand manager, Brown joined the company in 1992. Traditions in Tiles maintains branch locations in Georgia, Tennessee and Florida.
