Milliken & Co.'s Painterly rug line

Milliken & Co. will unveil a new carpet label at the Surfaces 2001 show. The new Ansley label features patterned carpets that are designed with the Millitron diffusion dye process, the company says, to offer color and design variety at affordable price points.

The Ansley label will be available exclusively to carpet specialty retailers. All Ansley carpets, which feature an extensive selection of colors and designs, will be available for delivery in seven days or less. According to Milliken, Solero, the inaugural collection under the Ansley label, meets consumers' requests for a more casual, subtle carpet design with patterns that feature smaller-scale sisal, softer neutrals and natural earthtone looks.

Also during Surfaces, Milliken will introduce its new Sculptique and Painterly rug collections. The Sculptique line combines an antique color palette with designs created by Milliken's patented Sculptique carving process to produce a collection designed to be simple and sophisticated. The Painterly line uses Millitron technology to bring fine art to the floor. With this technology, the Painterly line reproduces works of art onto rugs, creating distinctive room accents.
