The Connecticut Floor Covering Association (CFCA) recognized excellence in floor covering design, installation, and service during its recent Awards Night 2000.

CFCA president Tim Sullivan of Bestflor Distributors and event co-chairs, Dana Brochu of NRF Distribution and E.J. Noel of Mohawk Industries, shared the podium to name the following winners: Custom Floors for Carpet Design/Installation - Residential, and Commercial Flooring Concepts for Carpet Design/Installation - Commercial.

Other awardees included: R.T.W. Wall and Floor Covering for Resilient Design/Installation - Residential; Lyons Flooring for Wood Design/Installation - Commercial; Barall & Konover for Ceramic Design/Installation - Commercial; Hebron Signature Floor Covering for Ceramic Design/Installation - Residential; and Jim Jewell, Shaw Industries/Philadelphia Carpet for the Excellence in Service, Mill Representative Award. In addition, Steven Dalene, owner of Dalene Floor Covering, was designated CFCA man of the year.
