Armstrong, Tri-West and Union Local 1247 recently hosted the Armstrong Commercial Certified Installer Program in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. Installers who completed the program's hands-on and written tests with a minimum score of 80% became certified installers for Armstrong commercial sheet and linoleum products.

Armstrong's Certified Installer Program provides as much as $2,500 of replacement Armstrong-branded products to correct any workmanship error on the part of a certified installer. In addition, the company will pay a certified installer $125 to not install an obviously defective material. Dealers who use Armstrong Certified Installers will be listed on the Armstrong website.

Armstrong World Industries Installation Specialist Tim Provence, Tri-West Director of Installation Training Scott Parks and instructor Jim McCallick helped coordinate the program in Santa Fe Springs.
