The Hardwood Council's The Finishing Touch
The Hardwood Council has released The Finishing Touch, a 32-page booklet designed to help professional building and design professionals more effectively specify hardwoods.
The brochure features a stain guide showing 21 North American hardwood species in clear, light, medium, and dark stains. The brochure also features hardwood finishing basics, guidelines for specifying a factory finish, an A-to-Z finishes glossary, and a list of strength and mechanical properties for each of the hardwood species.
