NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla.—Coverings 2002 officials are now accepting entries for the 3rd Annual Prism Awards and the 15th Annual Spectrum Awards. Both competitions award a $10,000 grand prize.

The Prism Awards celebrate the creative use of natural stone in design and architecture. The competition is open to professionals involved in the distribution, specification, manufacturing, retailing, installation, or design of natural stone projects.

The Spectrum Awards acknowledge outstanding design and creativity in the use of ceramic tile. Submissions must include a typed narrative description of the project detailing the challenges presented by the project, the design innovations that were incorporated into the work, the project’s goals, and how those goals were achieved.

In both competitions, awards are given to residential and commercial installations. All projects must be accompanied by professional quality photography in either 8x10 color print or 35mm color slide format.
