Coverings seeks best in tile and stone for Spectrum, Prism awards
Show organizers for Coverings 2008 are seeking projects that showcase “extraordinary
and innovative use of tile and stone in architecture and design” for the annual
Spectrum and Prism Awards. The prize money for this year’s awards for Spectrum
(best of tile) and Prism (best of stone) totals $30,500. Deadline for
submissions is Feb. 1
According to Glenn Feder, president client events for Coverings show management company National Trade Productions, the awards are highly coveted throughout the tile and stone industry. “The impact of taking home a Spectrum or Prism Award is enduring,” he said. “The news of the winners and their projects appears not only in nearly all the top North American industry publications, but also in those based overseas.”
The 2008 Spectrum and Prism Awards are sponsored by Coverings and coordinated by the five sponsoring organizations of the show including ASCER (Spain’s Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Association), Confindusrtria Ceramica (Italian Association of Ceramics), CTDA (Ceramic Tile Distributors Association), NTCA (National Tile Contractors Association) and TCNA (Tile Council of North America).
Coverings 2008 is set for April 29-May 2 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. For more information visit www.coverings.com.
