A grand jury recently chose not to indict Wilsonart and other high-pressure laminate (HPL) manufacturers on charges of alleged price fixing in the HPL industry.
"We are very pleased by the decision to end this investigation," said Alison DeMartino, spokesperson for Wilsonart International.
During the U.S. Department of Justice hearings, Wilsonart maintained that the company had not violated any antitrust laws. In January, a jury acquitted Wilsonart President Bill Reeb of all perjury charges brought against him in connection with his testimony before the grand jury.
