Flooring industry pulls together, supports relief efforts
Companies in the flooring industry have offered strong support for victims of the recent attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and on the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Several companies have pulled together in various ways to make their own special contributions to relief efforts.
The James Hardie Corp., a building materials company, will donate $100,000 to the American Red Cross. The company will also match any employee contributions made to the American Red Cross up to $200,000.
