The Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) has a new chairman for only the third time in its 24-year history. FCIF's directors elected respected industry veteran N. Laurence Nagle as chairman of the board. Nagle, principal of N.L. Nagle Inc. and formerly the FCIF vice chairman, takes over from D. Christopher Davis who was elevated to the position in 2000 following the death of founding chairman Walter Guinan.
Davis, CEO of the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA), becomes FCIF president and was re-elected to the executive committee as the WFCA begins the year as the management firm for FCIF. The WFCA is providing that service as an "in-kind" contribution to the Foundation. Filling a similar joint capacity as they do in their own company, Alan Greenberg and Howard Brodsky, Co-CEOs of CCA Global Partners Inc., were elected co-vice chairmen of FCIF. Keith S. Campbell, chairman of Mannington Mills, Inc. was re-elected secretary/treasurer.
