Glenn Barnett, a new hire, will act as Gilford’s logistics and operations assistant.

Assuming credit responsibilities for Gilford is new hire Carla Layman.
Products and territories acquired from the defunct distributor Misco Shawnee have prompted Gilford Flooring to restructure its operations. The Jeffersonville, Ind.-based company, which acquired Misco's territories in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, has added staff and promoted other members of its management team to handle the increased workload.

Rick Justice, previously Gilford's logistics and warehouse manager, is now warehouse operations manager and will oversee inventory at the company's 70,000 square-foot warehouse. Shannon Russo moves from credit manager to assistant controller, focusing on collections. Kathy Brown, the company's purchasing manager, moves to hardwood, vinyl and laminate products. Her former ceramic and commercial duties will be handled by Angelita Aguila, who joins the company as assistant purchasing manager.

Other new hires include: Glenn Barnett, logistics and operations assistant, who will handle safety, transportation and delivery operations; and Carla Layman, accounts receivable assistant, assuming credit responsibilities.

Misco Shawnee closed its wholesale distribution arm last year to focus on its Distribution Services Inc. (DSI) division, which serves foreign manufacturers entering the U.S. market and provides training to buying groups.
