Shaw adds extra warranty to SoftBac Platinum carpets
Shaw Industries has introduced a new no run/no pull/no edge ravel warranty on all of its carpet backed with the company's SoftBac Platinum backing. The warranty is in addition to the existing No-Wrinkle Guarantee for all SoftBac products. Depending on the type of carpet, the warranty covers the floor for seven to 10 years.
"It's now been more than seven years since Shaw developed SoftBac with SI Flooring Systems," said Scott Sandlin, Shaw's vp of marketing. "We have a solid track record with the product and know how well it performs.
"We decided to give our SoftBac customers an added competitive advantage with this new warranty," he added.
