Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. Designed as “the first event to consolidate the disaster reconstruction industry,” NDRExpo will include product demonstrations, discussions of capabilities and challenges in the business, and networking opportunities for disaster management professionals across the industry.

Evan Kessler, publisher of BNP Media’sRestoration & Remediationmagazine, said he was looking forward to seeing the many disparate elements of the disaster reconstruction industry brought together for this event. “We look forward to bringing these different entities together in one world-class event in New Orleans and to providing the opportunity for them to learn from, and support each other,” he said.

According to Jimmy Mouton, president of show organizer Imago Trade Shows, the event would address a real need in the industry for a consolidated show. “Over 83% of those surveyed indicated a consolidated event was needed,” he said. “ In addition, we learned what industry segments these professionals would like to see in one setting. Our goal is to create a forum for these individuals that creates opportunities for greater cohesiveness of response and recovery efforts.”
