LG Hausys floors' green brochure.

LG Hausys floors has published a new full-color brochure highlighting its environmental initiatives and the benefits of specifying its commercial resilient flooring to qualify for LEED points. The brochure, which is printed on paper certified by both the Forest Stewardship Council and the Rainforest Alliance for containing a minimum 10-percent post-consumer recycled content, is available for free to distribution partners and interested parties.

LG Hausys floors manufactures resilient sheet and tile flooring for commercial and residential use, and has earned ISO-14001 and ISO-9001 certification for both environmental and quality standards. All LG Hausys flooring products and adhesives have earned FloorScore certification for good indoor air quality; several of its products have gained additional certificates from FloorScore for containing post- or pre-consumer recycled content.

LG Hausys floors can contribute valuable points across all LEED Green Building Rating Systems under the IEQ and Materials and Resources (MR) categories, according to the company. LG also helped develop a program dedicated to reclaiming previously installed resilient floors and incorporating the post-consumer waste in the production of new flooring products.
