At its board of directors meeting in Sept., the NWFA approved the leasing of a new training center in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The new facility will allow the NWFA to expand its hands-on training opportunities to wood flooring professionals on the west coast who are unable to travel to the NWFA’s current training facilities in St. Louis.

The NWFA offers more training options for wood flooring professionals than any other flooring organization.  The opening of its new Las Vegas facility is just one more example of the NWFA’s continued commitment to advancing the knowledge, skills and success of wood flooring professionals.  By maintaining two dedicated facilities, it also allows the NWFA to better control costs for each school by having equipment, supplies and systems in place to meet the students’ training needs.

Currently, 12 schools are scheduled to be offered at the Las Vegas facility in 2011.  Another nine schools will be offered at the NWFA’s international headquarters in St. Louis, and two schools will be offered in New York City.  For a complete schedule, visit www.nwfa.organd click on the Education & Schools link.
