Catherine “Cathy” Panagakos has joined Helmitin Inc.’s adhesives div. as corporate accounts mgr. Panagakos worked for Para-Chem from 1999 to 2010, serving as purchasing mgr., mtkg. dir. and vp sales for the adhesive div. She also served as oem sales dir. under the Royal Adhesives name after Para-Chem was sold to Arsenal Capitol Partners. In her career she has served a three-year term on the FIANA board of directors and on several FCICA committees.

“I worked in the plastics industry for 20 years as a manufacturer’s rep and never made as many friendships as I have in the flooring industry,” Panagakos said. “I feel very fortunate and blessed to be working in a field where everyone wants to help one another.”

Helmitin Inc. manufactures private-label adhesives for the flooring and transportation industries, as well as industrial adhesives.
