Shaw Industries is introducing its first-ever sale of its Grand Canyon hardwood collection. Starting Sept. 15, the sale will run through Dec. 31, and includes an impressive discount for in-store consumers. In 2011, Grand Canyon has been featured inHouse Beautifulmagazine’s Kitchen of the Year and has garnered a reputation as a high-end, quality product featuring an impressive sustainability story, according to the company.
“This has been quite the year for our Grand Canyon hardwood collection,” said Kevin Thompson, Shaw’s hardwood product category manager. “With its national acclaim this year, we’ve been able to expand the production capacity and offer this great sale. We know our dealers are going to be very excited to offer their customers this impressive discount.”
Shaw’s Grand Canyon product features an 8" wide plank made from hand-picked recycled hickory hardwood, which would otherwise end up in a landfill or burned. The premium select planks are painstakingly hand-scraped and stained to reveal a handsomely defined grain pattern. Stylish colors and fresh texture emphasizes the natural wood grain and makes a bold statement in the home, Shaw noted.
