FCITS held an Expo at the Holiday Inn in Dalton, GA on June 7 & 8. It was attended by 49 FCITS Certified Flooring Inspectors from across the country. Speakers at the Expo included John Granger from Tandus Technologies, Len Perkins VP of Impax Technology (maker of Cool Glide carpet seaming system), and Warner Braum, President of the Carpet and Rug Institute. The attendees were also certified to inspect IVC sheet vinyl with a class given by Randy Hoefler, Kevin Flannigan, and Jim Rottcher. The attendees were also certified to inspect Commercial Flooring with a class given by Ken Downey, FCITS instructor and Steve Noland.
