Flowcrete Opening EventFlowcrete Americas, a manufacturer of seamless resin flooring materials, has opened a new 30,000 square foot manufacturing plant in Spring, Texas, that will allow the company to more than double its production capacity to more than 20 million pounds per year. Flowcrete celebrated the grand opening with a lunch event and plant tour for customers.

Mark Greaves, Flowcrete Group president, applauded the team for “successfully migrating the company’s operations to its new home with minimal disruption to trade” and hailed the opening of the new facility as “a landmark occasion in the company’s history, propelling future growth and taking the company’s stateside operations to the next level.”

Also at the event were David Reif, president of parent company RPM Performance Coatings Group, and Dave McNeece, newly appointed managing director.

“This new premises will do a great deal to meet our current manufacturing requirements while also ‘future-proofing’ the business, meaning that we can confidently continue with the business expansion plan Flowcrete Americas has put in place across both North America and Latin America,” McNeece stated.

Total surface area is almost double that of the old facility, making room for significantly larger production, office, warehouse, and laboratory areas, in addition to six more loading docks and double the number of both packaging and liquid mixer stations, the company said.
