Scott Humphrey, World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) CEO, announced that the WFCA has accepted the resignation of Chris McKee as CFI President.

Humphrey honored Dennis Blake and David Alton for their many years of service to the industry and for helping to pave the way for the WFCA of today. 

Flooring installers, retailers and distributors from all over the country gathered at this year’s International Certified Installers (CFI) Convention to compete in the Southeast Regional Installation competition, participate in education sessions, demo new products and connect with colleagues.

The annual meeting is where the industry comes together to focus on continuing to optimize the EDI standards for the flooring industry and work towards increased adoption.

As the program expands and more and more colleges and organizations are made aware, the need for more sponsorship is still present.

Certified Flooring Installers Association President Chris McKee announced the details of the upcoming Annual Convention & Expo running August 2-4, 2022, at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida.

Chris McKee was appointed president, and Dave Garden was appointed to the newly created position of executive director of education, both effective May 16.
