Wood floors made by a Shanghai-based company, which provides flooring for up to 10 real estate developers, were found not to contain excessive amounts of cancer-causing formaldehyde, the Shanghai Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision said yesterday.
Boulder officials acknowledged Tuesday that potentially toxic materials line the floors of three rooms at the South Boulder Recreation Center and will have to be removed at an unknown cost.
