Burke Industries Inc. has acquired the Endura Rubber Flooring division of Waltham, Mass.-based Biltrite Corp. Burke's BurkeMercer Flooring Products division manufactures and markets resilient tile, wall base, stair treads and traditional moldings. Endura's rubber floor tile and stair treads are installed worldwide in commercial, educational, stadium, healthcare and retail facilities.
Shaw's Hard Surfaces division has launched the "Earn Extra Cash!" incentive program for Shaw Laminate customers to promote sales on its new laminate introductions. Launched on May 1, the incentive runs through July 10, and offers $2, $3, $4, and $5 per carton on 11 of Shaw Laminates' newest styles featured in the Laminate Design Gallery display.

CCA Global Partners has appointed Randy Gum to the position of vice president, Hard Surfaces. In this new role, Gum will lead the buying cooperative's hard-surface programs and will be responsible for planning, acquiring and coordinating hard-surface products and programs for all flooring divisions within the CCA Global network.
Tarkett Residential plans to initiate a 4 to 6 percent price increase on select products in its resilient and FiberFloor offerings. The resilient increases will take effect July 1 and the FiberFloor increases will become effective Sept. 1.
