The Floor Covering Education Foundation (FCEF) just returned from the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Annual Convention in Austin, Texas where it represented the flooring industry as a potential career option.

The company said the acquisition helps to establish a leading presence in the North American market. 

The purchase includes the purchase and operation of three U.S. manufacturing facilities, in Lancaster and Beech Creek, Pennsylvania, and in Kankakee, Illinois.

The latest initiative in its efforts to grow its brand nationwide is hiring and promoting a range of seasoned professionals with experience in commercial and residential flooring, and installation products.

The convention unites top distributors and suppliers for three days of professional development and relationship-building.

Giant Group will acquire the equity interests in the company’s Hong Kong holding company subsidiary, including all associated operations for $59 million, and Cowes Bay will acquire substantially all of the Company’s Australian assets for $31 million plus assumption of specified liabilities. 

Fishman Flooring Solutions, a leading distributor of flooring and flooring installation supplies, has relocated its Raleigh, North Carolina branch.

AHF Products has reached an agreement to purchase certain Armstrong Flooring assets subject to court approval. 

As the program expands and more and more colleges and organizations are made aware, the need for more sponsorship is still present.

The campaign features Carpet One Floor & Home’s “spokesdog”, Cooper, a St. Bernard who spends the his days lounging across floors, giving him a unique vantage point about flooring options in the home.
