Each year at Coverings, the Tile Council of North America members come together to give back to a different community every year. This year was an adorable one. Members created and donated tile doghouses to Florida Little Dog Rescue to support their mission.
Organizers of Coverings, the preeminent and largest international ceramic tile and natural stone event in North America, have announced that Coverings 2023 exceeded expectations with a vigorous 50 percent year-over-year increase in attendance, totaling nearly 27,000 eventgoers who gathered April 18-21, 2023, at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando, Florida.
While the outlook in 2023 is cautiously optimistic, challenges such as supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, inflation, the housing market, and economic uncertainty remain.
Tile Council of North America (TCNA) presented its prestigious Tile Person of the Year award to Mr. Sergio Narváez Garza, CEO of Lamosa’s tile division, at Coverings 2023 in Orlando, FL.
The event was an opportunity for attendees to gain valuable knowledge about the latest trends and innovations, including a demonstration of their state-of-the-art digital printing machine for embossing in register.
The flooring industry family gathered in Rocky Face, Georgia, for Cocktails for a Cause, an evening of fellowship, fundraising and raising awareness, hosted by Mary Helen and Will Young, for Floor Covering Industry Foundation.
Women in the Floorcovering Industry (WIFI) celebrated successes and made plans to expand its impact at the organization's spring board meeting held on April 26 at The Farm in Rocky Face, Georgia.
