CFI to Host Maryland Carpet Installation Training and Certification
The International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association (CFI) will host carpet installation training and certification on Nov. 18 and 19 at Kehne's Carpet One Floor & Home in Frederick, Md.
The CFI team will teach installers how to avoid or correct common issues like: peaked seams, gapped and overlapped seams, mismatched patterns, buckling, re-stretching, visible staples and frayed carpet in doorways.
Course content will include: seaming of new products, powerstretching and wall-trimming techniques, pattern matching (correcting bow, skew and pattern elongation) as well as stair upholstery without the use of staples.
