Atlanta, Ga. -- Surya will host a series of educational and social events during the fall High Point Market. Over the course of five days, seven programs will bring celebrity designers, industry influencers, CEU presentations, business development insight, and networking events, to Showplace 4100.

The Guide to Area Rugs CEU Saturday, October 13, 10:30 a.m.
Surya’s CEU course will survey uses of area rugs throughout the world and history – from thousands of years ago to today. The demonstration of materials, fabrication and application practices will improve designers’ ability to provide informed style solutions for clients. (0.1 CEU)

The Inspiration Behind the Designs Panel Discussion, Saturday, October 13, 2 p.m.
Join interior and product designers Michel Smith Boyd, Toma Clark Haines “The Antiques Diva”, Mary Douglas Drysdale, Xander Noori, and Keon Khajavi-Noori as they discuss where they seek inspiration, how they overcome the dreaded creative block, and give tips and tools for recharging your creative batteries.

ASID Breakfast & Showroom Tour, Sunday, October 14, 8:30 a.m.
All ASID members are welcome to this members-only breakfast at the Surya showroom, followed by a showroom tour, reviewing what is new and trending at Surya.

The Mentor & Mingle Experience, Monday, October 15, 5 p.m.
Learn, connect and thrive among fellow designers at this unique speed-mentoring event with industry experts, followed by an evening of drinks, photos and relationship building.
