Atlanta -- In this season of giving, Romanoff Renovations donated $25,000 to the communities it serves. The Home Depot at Home Services provider of flooring installation and bathroom remodeling has 49 offices serving customers in 24 states, and each location had an opportunity to make an impact in their community by selecting a charity meaningful to them to receive a donation of $500.

The charities selected cover a spectrum of services ranging from the Ronald McDonald House of SW Virginia; Willamette Humane Society in Salem, Ore.; Toys for Tots; and Soldiers’ Angels. In addition, some organizations are matching donations, increasing Romanoff’s reach.

"I’m especially proud that these charities were selected by our employees. Many of the gifts are deeply personal,” said Doug Romanoff, Romanoff founder and president. “For example, Tiny Hero, an organization dedicated to supporting families of children born with the birth defect CDH [congenital diaphragmatic herni], is connected to a Romanoff team member whose son has CDH.”

Giving back has always been a core value of Romanoff, be it in the form of community service, the employee-funded Romanoff Foundation, or corporate giving of 5% of the company’s annual profits, the company said.
