Chicago -- Hannover Fairs USA, the organizer of Domotex USA, announced the three winners of the Domotex World Tour Sweepstakes drawing: Allison Weiner, designer and merchandiser of Green Bay, Wis.-based HJ Martin and Son; Joanne Rice, designer and sales consultant at Touchdown Carpet & Flooring in Marlborough, Mass.; and Tim Doyle, co-owner of Flooring America Design Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Each winner is attending a Domotex event for the first time.

The winners were awarded exclusive VIP trips to select Domotex events in Hannover, Germany, Atlanta, Ga., and Shanghai, China. The winners will experience opportunities to meet face-to-face with key players in the global flooring industry and to source the latest floor covering products from around the world as part of their awards.

Allison Weiner won the trip to Domotex in Hannover and attended the show from January 11-14. Her employer, HJ Martin and Son, is a leading U.S. residential and commercial interior and specialty contractor.

“As a buyer and merchandiser, I am intrigued to see what new flooring products both North American and international exhibitors will be showcasing in Atlanta,” said Weiner. “I’m also interested in gauging how the Domotex shows impact the world of flooring in our Midwest marketplace and expect local distributors will expand their product offerings after the inaugural U.S. show.”

Joanne Rice won the trip to Domotex USA in Atlanta to attend the show from Feb. 28 to March 2. As a designer and sales consultant for Touchdown Carpet & Flooring, a residential and commercial carpet flooring retailer, Rice is charged with the design, selection and installation of floor coverings, and kitchen and bath wall tile for all clients’ homes.

“Attending Domotex USA will be the first time I get to experience a large floor covering event and am really excited to see the whole industry on display all in one place and to network with my peers,” Rice said. “I have a textiles and interior design background and am also very interested in exploring the latest floor production and processing technologies at the show.”

Tim Doyle won the trip to Domotex asia/CHINAFLOOR in Shanghai to attend the show from March 26-28. His business, Flooring America Design Center, features all floor covering product categories, including hardwood, carpet and LVT flooring along with cabinets and countertops. Doyle employs three interior designers who assist clients with their flooring, kitchen and bathroom installation projects among other home design needs.

“As a design center owner, I make it my business to stay educated,” said Doyle. ”Attending the Domotex asia/CHINAFLOOR show offers me an international scope that other retailers in the area can’t offer their clients.”
