Ecore, a manufacturer of safe, ergonomic and acoustic performance surfaces for commercial and athletic markets, will continue to offer free seminars on acoustics and performance for Continuing Education Course (CEU) credits from September through November. Both courses are certified through the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC).

The acoustic seminar titled “Flooring Design with Acoustics in Mind” will be led by Mike Raley, an Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE) board-certified acoustic engineer for Ecore, on the first Wednesday of every month at 1 p.m. EST beginning September 2.

The performance seminar titled “Defining Performance in Flooring: How Engineered Surfaces Are Changing and What Designers Should Demand From the Floor” will be presented by David Sides, sales director - west for Ecore, on the second Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m. EST starting September 8.

“These CEU courses are intended to educate attendees on the value and benefits of specifying the appropriate flooring in a variety of applications,” said Bo Barber, executive vice president of sales & marketing at Ecore. “Understanding the importance of good acoustics and performance benefits necessary for each application is important information for all architects and designers,” said Barber.
