Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor hosted the first exhibition of the flooring and floor technology industry worldwide after the global outbreak and concluded September 2, 2020.

The show brought together 852 flooring and floor technology brands and greeted more than 40,862 visitors at the New Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai in September.

Through Global Flooring Connect (GFC), Domotex Asia/ ChinaFloor‘s international audience was present virtually and met with onsite exhibitors digitally. Through the GFC platform, 341 exhibitors, presenting 786 top products had the chance to connect, network and deal with 1518 registered buyers from all around the globe. A selected number of onsite exhibitors were also included in the international B2B match-making program that was realized via the GFC platform and conducted 63 meetings onsite and discussed live with potential buyers from different parts of the world. During the period between middle of July when the GFC platform was launched and the last day of the exhibition, the platform received 83,000 unique visitors.

During the three days of the exhibition, an online webcast, broadcasted through Twitter Live, offered flooring professionals around the world a unique opportunity to feel the show’s vibe through booth tours and product presentations while also being able to virtually attend all major onsite conferences. This live broadcast reached more than 350,000 views.

At the same time, onsite visitors had a chance to visit the new Flooring Without Borders (FWB) space, an area where international brands that could not make it this year to the show due to travel restrictions were virtually present. Onsite visitors were able to connect with the international companies represented at FWB through the laptops dedicated to each company, containing all important information on the brand, products and contact details.

In order to cater to the growing trend of the Chinese trade market, Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor, continues to expand its visitor channels by co-locating with new events and showcases. One of these was the new C+D Shanghai Contract and Decor Exhibition, which covered different but inter-connecting aspects of space, with reference to decoration, office space and other fields. C+D Shanghai injected new vitality to the show and lays the ground for more development both in terms of what the exhibition has to offer and in terms of a greater more diverse audience as it attracted a great number of contract and decoration buyers. Within the C+D Shanghai Contract and Décor Exhibition frame, the tailored industry conference on Interior Prefabricated Decoration (IPD) gathered more than 300 interior decoration companies and more than 30 of the biggest names in construction in China along with various construction developers and related suppliers, that discussed among others the latest trends in digital transformation and industrialization.

For exhibitors and visitors who could not make it this year, Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor and its team are looking forward to welcoming them March 24-26, 2021 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong.
