Mannington and Phenix announced a price increase on select hard and soft surface flooring in response to the challenge of rising costs in raw materials and freight.

In a statement, the company said the brands are committed to delivering their customers the best in technological innovation, product quality, fashion-forward design and world-class service. "We have done all we can to offset and mitigate these increases, but they cannot be fully absorbed, and we must pass along an increase to the market."

Effective with shipments beginning April 19, the following increases will go into effect:

- Mannington hardwood, laminate and LVT: 4% - 8% with a minimum $0.10 per square foot on LVT

- Phenix LVT: 4% - 8% with a minimum $0.10 per square foot

- Phenix Carpet: 4% - 8% with a minimum $0.27 per square yard

The increase will apply to all shipments in the U.S. and Canada. Mannington previously announced a 3% - 5% increase on residential resilient sheet products effective March 29.
