Intertech Commercial Flooring, a provider of commercial flooring products, installation and maintenance throughout Texas and the Southwest, has promoted Mark Solis to project manager.

Solis first joined Intertech in 1997 as a commercial flooring installer. In 2004, he was promoted to project coordinator, a position he held for the next 17 years.

During Solis’ 24 years with Intertech, he has managed major flooring installation projects across Central Texas, including projects for The University of Texas, Dell, LCRA, Applied Materials, Silicon Labs, Luminex, Dupont Group, the Texas State Capitol and Apple. In addition, he has overseen flooring installation on various remodel projects for churches, healthcare facilities and technology businesses.

Most recently, Solis was awarded the flooring project for Apple’s new Capstone B1 campus in northwest Austin.

“Mark has been a valued member of our team for more than two decades, and during that time has gained tremendous experience in a variety of flooring types and building environments,” said Intertech Commercial Flooring president Bill Imhoff. “I am pleased to have him a part of our project leadership team where he will continue to be a valuable asset to our commercial flooring clients in Central Texas and beyond.”
