Happy Feet International, a producer of luxury vinyl plank and tile, has added three new team members to its growing operations. Headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the company has been working to meet customer demand as supply chain issues have slowed other parts of the United States. New associates, Mariah Ramsey, Donald Inserra and Steve Addison, will help Happy Feet keep up with demand and its growing business across the U.S.

“We have more than 30 million square feet of luxury vinyl flooring in stock and hundreds of dealers across the U.S., and our new staff members are joining us at an important time,” said CEO Casey Johnson. “Each brings a unique skill set and strong background to their roles, and we’re happy to have them join our team.”

Addison is stepping into the position of multifamily specifier, which is responsible for selling flooring to regional and national dealers with a focus on multi-family building. He has 36 years of experience, working in all phases of the flooring industry. Addison got his start with Milliken Commercial Carpets and has worked for West Point Pepperell, Tuftex Carpets of California and Shaw.

Inserra joins Happy Feet as a territory sales manager, which is responsible for selling luxury vinyl flooring products to specialty retailers, commercial and multifamily end users. He’ll be focused on growing the New York market. Like Addison, he also has extensive experience in the flooring industry. For 15 years, Inserra held sales positions in his father’s retail and commercial flooring store, Inserra’s Flooring Outlet in upstate New York. He has a history of successfully directing and motivating sales team members to exceed targets and boost revenue. Most recently as sales manager, Inserra’s responsibilities included setting and administering budgets, managing daily financial activities, coordinating with distributors and focusing on customer service and satisfaction.

Like Inserra, Ramsey also joins Happy Feet as a territory sales manager and will be responsible for sales, business development and building relationships with existing customers in both residential and commercial flooring. Previously, Ramsey managed sales and purchase orders for Carpets Plus of Wisconsin. Her background includes a strong focus in customer service as a former receptionist for 3 Kings Flooring in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Ramsey grew up in the industry with her dad owning a flooring store. As part of the Happy Feet team, she will concentrate on growing sales in the Utah market.
