Returning for the first time since COVID-19 hit, Domotex 2023 took place in Hannover, Germany, on January 12-14. The exhibition received positive feedback, according to Sonia Wedell-Castellano, global director, Domotex. Sustainability was the theme for this year with the keynote topic: Floored By Nature. During the exhibition, Deutsche Messe announced that it will be changing the format of the show as of the 2024 exhibition. 

"Starting 2024, Domotex will be organized every second year at Hannover," said Wedell-Castellano. "We listened very carefully to the market's desire. They [indicated] a biannual show would be much better."

This move will put the Bau show hitting on the odd years and Domotex on the even years.
