March Construction Input Prices Down Year-Over-Year
Construction input costs are down on a year-over-year basis for the first time since August 2020, said according to Associated Builders and Contractors Chief Economist Anirban Basu.
Construction input prices increased 0.2% in March, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Producer Price Index data released today. Nonresidential construction input prices rose 0.4% for the month.
