The flooring industry sees a number of new hires and promotions at Meridian, Bona and Mannington Commercial.

Meridian Adhesives Group (Meridian), a leading manufacturer of high-value adhesive technologies, announces the appointment of Vincent Dimino as vice president of global operations.

Dimino comes to Meridian with more than 30 years of leadership experience in various operational roles within the chemical and specialty material industry.

Prior to joining Meridian, Dimino held the title of chief service officer for Joerns Healthcare and VP of supply chain for Dubois Chemicals Inc. Dimino holds a bachelor of science in technology and management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Bona US recently welcomed two new territory managers and a new field product analyst to the Bona team. Charles Jernigan and Robby Smith were promoted to territory manager roles, and Darin Grimes joined as field product analyst.

Charles Jernigan is the company’s new territory manager for the Rocky Mountain region, which includes Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. Jernigan previously served as a tech and training instructor with Bona. He is a Certified Installer, Sand & Finisher from the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA).

Robby Smith is Bona’s new territory manager covering eastern Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware and Maryland. Prior to his new role, Smith served on Bona’s professional product management team, as a product developer and tester. He is a third-generation contractor with nearly two decades of industry experience. Smith is a Certified Installer, Sand & Finisher from the NWFA. Prior to joining Bona, he was a member of the Bona Certified Craftsman Program as a private contractor.

Darin Grimes, Bona’s new field product analyst, brings more than 37 years of flooring experience to Bona. Grimes, who is based in North Carolina, is a NWFA Certified Installer, Sand & Finisher. He is the former owner of Elegant Floors and is a Bona Certified Craftsman.

Mannington Commercial, a manufacturer in commercial modular and broadloom carpet, luxury vinyl tile, resilient sheet, and rubber flooring, announces Kenna Biddlecombe as a district manager with the Kansas City team. 

Biddlecombe comes with an extensive background in marketing and a B.S. in Business Marketing and Journalism from the University of Kansas. Previously, Biddlecombe was a Sales Account Manager at All Tile CCS and a Senior Specialist of Marketing at Boehringer Ingelheim.
