TISE Announces Winners of the Central Regional Installation Competition

The International Surface Event (TISE) hosted its third of four regional installation competitions on September 8-9, 2023, at Carpet Cushion and Supplies in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Four flooring pros competed to discover who's the best LVP or carpet installer for a chance at the National Installer of the Year title, which will take place at TISE 2024 in Las Vegas. The competition was sponsored by Performance Accessories and QEP/Roberts.

The LVP category competitors were Jeremy Glover of Welch Tile in Wyoming, Michigan, and Crystal Sims of Preferred Flooring, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sims won for LVP installation. The carpet category competitors were Jacob Waldrop of Coleman's Flooring and Blinds in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Diego Alviso of Installation Services in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Alviso won for carpet installation.

Sims and Alviso will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, in January 2024 to compete for the national title at the TISE Regional Finalist Competition alongside other regional winners.

Diego Alviso of Installation Services in Fort Wayne, Indiana won the carpet category.
