During NeoCon 2024 Shaw Contract unveiled a new sustainable flooring innovation, EcoWorx Resilient, while also launching products that continue to illustrate the company’s responsibility to each other and to our habitat, to people and the planet, all while taking design advances to the next level. 

Art + Science: The First EcoWorx Resilient Collection

Art + Science is the first-ever EcoWorx Resilient collection, building upon the success of the revolutionary EcoWorx carpet tile backing. EcoWorx Resilient is a brand-new PVCfree/non-vinyl flooring product that is fully recyclable and covered by Shaw’s Environmental Guarantee through its Re[TURN] Reclamation program. At the end of its useful life, EcoWorx Resilient can be made into new EcoWorx carpet tile and Ecoworx resilient flooring. Expected to have a carbon footprint that is 40% lower than existing Shaw Contract LVT collections, EcoWorx Resilient products are anticipated to be both optimized for low embodied carbon and offset to be carbon neutral.

This collection of three carpet tile styles is inspired by the world outside your door, our collective desire to bring the outdoors inside and all the ways you design spaces with nature— not against it. This system of 18x36 inch plank styles offer the ability to transition from a foundational style to an accent style with ease. The colorways offered create the feel of six different biomes: coast, grassland, desert, mountain and arctic. 

Local Landscapes is a collection manufactured with EcoSolution Q100, a high-performance 100% recycled content nylon fiber, allocated from pre-consumer sources. Products with EcoSolution Q100 are optimized for low embodied carbon and are carbon neutral. 

Poetic Form

Poetic Form is a collection of three carpet tile styles offered in a combination of organic textures and clean, modern geometry that create elegant stone and marble visuals. Colorways range from rich navy to light and neutral. Metallic yarn accents create an elegant and elevated look ideal for professional services offices. Each style is 24x24 inches and manufactured with EcoSolution Q100, a high-performance 100% recycled content nylon fiber, allocated from pre- consumer sources. Products with EcoSolution Q100 are optimized for low embodied carbon and are carbon neutral. 

Texture Study: A Renewed Classic

Texture Study, a new collection of carpet tile, explores an array of textural references, combined with a new bio-based backing, EcoWorx BIO. The line not only exemplifies Shaw Contract’s commitment to the planet, but also to people, as the collection’s aesthetics provide a timeless backdrop that supports balance. Classic textures and patterns ground the space and create a foundation for an environment that feels calm, focused and sophisticated.
