Brazil delivered strong results at Coverings 2025, closing immediate business deals worth $27.34 million and projecting over $90.85 million in potential transactions for the next 12 months following the major North American trade show.
The results from the April 29-May 2 event in Orlando exceeded initial projections, with immediate deals increasing 51.9% above estimates. Brazil's strong performance reinforces its position as a leading supplier of natural stone to international markets.
The Brazilian Pavilion occupied approximately 1,000 square meters at the largest coverings fair in North America, hosting 57 companies from six Brazilian states. Four companies made their debut at the event, highlighting continued industry growth and international expansion efforts.
During the four-day show, Brazilian exhibitors made 3,921 business contacts, with 1,090 identified as new potential clients. The networking success demonstrates the strategic value of international trade shows for securing deals and strengthening Brazil's industry image globally.
The participation was organized through the "It's Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone" program, developed by the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The collaboration has been instrumental in establishing Brazil's reputation for geological diversity, quality, and innovation in natural stone products.
At the pavilion's opening ceremony, Centrorochas President Tales Machado emphasized Brazil's strong presence and praised the partnership with ApexBrasil, which has enabled dozens of companies to participate in international events while promoting the industry's image abroad.
The event attracted significant diplomatic and trade support, with Paulo Roberto da Silva, Coordinator of Industry and Services for ApexBrasil, and Fernando Spohr, head of ApexBrasil's Miami office, representing the trade agency. Brazil's Consul General in Orlando, Ambassador João Lucas Quental, attended the opening and highlighted business opportunities in the U.S. market, particularly in Florida.
The "It's Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone" export promotion program currently supports 226 companies through strategic internationalization actions focused on promotion, image strengthening, and global market development. Companies interested in joining the program can register for free through the organization's online portal.
The results from Coverings 2025 confirm Brazil's strategic approach to international market development and its continued leadership in the global natural stone industry.
